| Description | Jarrow Formulas® Vitamin D3 provides cholecalciferol, which is more biologically active than ergocalciferol (D2). Vitamin D3 is ultimately converted in the kidneys to its hormonally active form, calcitriol. Calcitriol improves the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from food, stimulates the synthesis of osteocalcin (an important structural protein in bone), and supports a healthy immune response. |

| Usage | For adults, take 1 capsule with water every other day. This corresponds to a daily intake of 25 µg vitamin D3 (1000 IU, 500% NRV) |
