Candida treatment
The road to a correct diagnosis of systemic Candida through the established system is long, and the way to medical treatment even longer.
If there is a suspicion of an underlying disease, that creates the immune weakening and thus the Candida infection, there has to be a very detailed clarification of what creates the immune weakening and what medicine and treatment to be used for curing the underlying disease. Very few doctors and clinics have the skills to make that kind of clarification of what causes the immune weakening. Therefore only very few get this offer.
In many cases its not possible to find any obvious reason at all to why the systemic Candidainfekton has broken out, because there are huge differences in how sensitive each individual respond to immunweakening factors and because there may be many different factors that create the weakening both alone and in combination. In many cases, the patient has been cured for the initial immune weakening factor that started the systemic fungal infection. Instead, the systemic Candida infection has now become so widespread and strong in the body, after being fed with large amounts of sugar, that it has become the main immune weakening factor. For many patients who suffer from systemic fungal infections it ends this way, and all focus must now be on fighting the fungus.
There are a number of medical products known in the area. When the patient and physician are open to treat Candida medically, the usual quick one or two course treatments of Nystatin, Nizoral or Diflucan are completely insufficient to cure the more chronic cases, where the fungus has formed roots in the body. In general, the medical treatment in the field is not the best, both in terms of efficiency and side effects. In addition, the situation for most patients will unfortunately be, that they experience an allergenic reaction when they take the drugs because of their "Leaky Gut Syndrome". The consequence of this is an immunweakening and a worsening of the Candida infection. Many patients will also experience, that the Candidafungus relatively fast develops immunity to these drugs. You will often have to go very cautiously forward, when treating patients with systemic Candida infections and constantly rotate between different drugs.
Another reason why the Candida, with its origin in the intestine, reacts so poorly to many conventional fungicides, is that the major part of the fungus in fact is located on the outside of the intestinal wall, where it nourishes on the sugar from food that passes through the gastrointestinal tract. From here, it can spread its roots all over the body.
The medical fungicides are all working in the blood and therefore will not hit the fungi on the outer surface of the intestine, where it is strongest. Often the fungus will be widely spread in the digestive system for instance from the mouth to the anus or from the stomach to the large intestine. Its spread will therefore be over several meters and local treatment will have limited effect. Especially the large intestine with provide excellent conditions for the breeding of Candida albicans fungus – warm, putrid, lacking oxygen and well protected. For all practical purposes, these breeding grounds are outside the body. They are not in living tissue but next to it. After a treatment with drugs, the fungus will just spread again throughout the body via the blood. The food you consume and feed the fungus with is therefore crucial in your fight against systemic Candida infection, because it hits the Candidafungi at the outside of the intestinal wall, where the fungus is strongest.

Four treatment keyareas:
As Candidapatient you will find that your body acts like an extremely sensitive barometer to what generally is good and bad for the body and immune system, so there are many different factors to be aware of in your treatment and healing. Target with the treatment is to boost the immune system and to get the systemic rootforming Candidafungus to pull back to its normal state in the gastrointestinal tract. A condition in which there is a healthy balance between fungi and the ”friendly bacteria”. Systemic Candida is very difficult and complicated to treat and you will have to attack from multiple fronts to achieve an effective treatment. This is achieved by a combination of the following changes in your daily life:
1) Diet changes
A diet low in sugar and allergens, but rich in Candidakilling foods. In addition you must focuse on immuneboosting food, food that improve bowel function and food that cover all your nutrient needs.
2) Lifestyle changes
All kinds of physical and psychological stress must be avoided and focuse must be on good sleep and moderate exercise. All kinds of stimulants must be avoided, such as caffeine, smoking, alcohol, marijuana etc. Many medical products such as contraceptive pills worsen the state. Bodycare products, that can be absorbed through skin into the blood is excluded.
3) Boost your immunesystem
A stronger immunesystem is a consequence of changes in diet and lifestyle. To complement this, there are a number of supplements that can help boost your immune system. A stronger immune system makes you more fit to combat the systemic Candida.
4) Take supplements
For many Candidapatients dietary supplements of vitamins and minerals are a very important part of their fight against the disease. The reason is a dysfunctional gut with low uptake of nutrients and one-sided Candida diet. There is a high risk of nutrient deficiency and thus a weakened immune system. Other dietary supplements and natural products involved in the fight against systemic Candida are Candidakilling products, immuneboosting products and products that improve bowel function. But be careful with supplements, only few of them are tolerated by Candidapatients.
