Vaginal fungal infections

First of all, fixing your gut health is an important way to prevent yeast infections from recurring. But you can use several natural remedies to treat vaginal yeast infections.


Try Antifungal baths
Run a hot bath and add a few drops of tea tree oil or oregano oil to your hot bath. Start with a small amount (especially oregano oil is very potent) and gradually increase the amount over some days.


Use Yoghurt externally
Plain probiotic yogurt has a high content of beneficial bacteria like Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Use the yogurt externally, just like you would use a any cream. You can also soak a tampon in the yogurt and leave it overnight.


Use Coconut oil
You can apply coconut oil externally just like any cream. Depending on the room temperature, coconut oil is either solid or liquid. If it’s solid, warm it shortly in your hands. Use coconut oil just like plain yogurt, coconut oil can also be applied internally by using a tampon.


Use fresh garlic
You can also use whole garlic cloves to treat vaginal yeast infections. First you peel a garlic, then you clean it, then you coat it with coconut oil and in the end you insert it in the frontal cavity of the vagina. Do it before bedtime, it will then dissolve during your sleep. Remove the remnants in your morning shower.


Use boric acid
If you want to try boric acid you need to pack them into empty felatin capsules for use as suppositories. Boric acid can purchased in powder form at pharmacies.


Try tea tree oil
Use tea tree oil only topically and only in limited amounts, because it is very strong. Research indikates that tea tree oil is able to impair Candida’s ability to adhere to human cell surfaces.
